- The Angkatan Pelukis Aneka Daya (Association of Artists of Various Resources) or better known as APAD was founded on 29 July 1962 in Singapore. The association's main aims are: -To encourage its members in the promotion of their artistic talents in the field of visual arts. -To promote the development and appreciation of visual arts. Since its inception, the association has contributed towards the artistic pool of the nation through its diversified shows: whether as one-man, group, children or other form of art exhibitions.
